Welcome to the Placentia Area Roman Catholic Cluster
On behalf of the Pastoral Council and our pastor, I welcome you
to the new website for our parish community. Currently we have
3 parishes within our cluster with 5 churches, named Sacred
Heart Church Placentia, Holy Rosary Church Freshwater, St. Anne’s
Church Dunville, Sacred Heart Church Fox Harbour and
St. Theresa’s Church Ship Harbour. Our community is about
an hour and a half from the city of St. John’s.
I invite you to take time and view all the information and
pictures on our website. Also don’t forget to sign our guestbook.

As the church instituted by Jesus Christ, we, the Placentia Area Roman Catholic Cluster Parish believe that the Eucharist, both the banquet at which we are fed and the sacrifice by which we are saved, is the essence of our belief. We pledge to be good stewards of the gifts that God has given us and joyfully give of our time and talent to others. We proclaim Catholic faith development as a lifelong process achieved through family, liturgy, community and education.
