Hi Jason I'd like to get the Placentia Area Chamber of Commerce on here if you don't mind. We have a bit of stuff on the go from time to time, and are trying to do business mixers so that people who work in different places can get a chance to meet each other. Can you set us up?

my name is doreen spurrier hassett - I visited you some years ago whilst making a video concerning the links between Poole Dorset and Newfoundland. It was a great thrill for me to visit Burin and see the house and boat yard once owned by my ancestors' To all those who welcomed us to your oart of the world, greetings, especially Brian of the Burin Museum, and the young man who lived in the one time spurrier house

Hi Jason (Webmaster) Great site. Actually I just heard about it from Tom O'Keefe. I would like to be a contributor on behalf of the Placentia Area Theatre d'Heritage Committee (PATH). We are gearing up again this year with Peter MacDonald as our Artistic Director for an eventfull summer so I hope you won't mind displaying or advertising some of our functions. Tks, Helen griffin email address is email@example.com

I'd check out the Events Calendar to see the type of activities we have coming up. The Calendar is still growing as more and more people begin to use placentiabay.ca. A look through the Event Arcvive will also give you an idea of what's been happening this winter.
I also suggest you check out the Laval High School website: http://www.laval.k12.nf.ca/ and have a look at the plans for the new school that will be opening this September. It's exciting times in Placentia! As well, my Links section offers more sites with community information.
Hope that helps.

I was just wondering about things that your town offers to aid new comers to the community. I was planning on maybe moving there, and I have two kids ( Four and Twelve). Different events or even community services. Could someone email me with some information.
Thanks Caitlin firstname.lastname@example.org
