Placentia RCMP / 2558 Placentia Army Cadets

The Fill the Police Car for the Food Bank challenge continues this weekend at the annual Santa Claus Parade! Members of 2558 Placentia Army Cadets will join the RCMP to collect food items along the parade route! Please bring a non-perishable food item to the parade scheduled for 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 7th and help fill the police car! All items will be donated to the Placentia & Area Community Food Bank.

Dunville Lions Club - Town of Placentia

The Dunville Lions Club - Town of Placentia 9th Annual Santa Claus Parade Is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, 2013.

Line up for the parade will be at the College of North Atlantic, no later than 2:00 p.m.  The parade will begin at 3:00 p.m. sharp!

The route will begin at the College, down Roosevelt Avenue onto Blockhouse Road, up Prince William, on to Orcan Drive, on to McKendrick St., and onto Patterson Drive into the Town Square.

Roads abutting the parade route will be closed 15 minutes prior (2:45 p.m.) to the parade.

Non-perishable food item will be collected in support of the RCMP Second Annual “Fill the Police Car Campaign” (Food Bank).  The 2558 Placentia Royal Canadian Army Cadets will be collecting the food items along the parade route.

Drop into the Placentia Bay Cultural Arts Centre after the parade to meet Santa, have your photo taken and enjoy some Christmas Treats!
